Title: The Gatherers
Thanks to their solar stove cooker, these gatherers have firewood for the week with plenty left over for building needs. Using the solar stove cooker means cutting down fewer trees, like the valuable Karite tree.
Cooking has a significant global impact; one half of humanity (about 3.25 billion people) relies on wood or dung to cook their food. Eighteen African countries rely on wood fuel for most of their energy consumption.
